Project3541 is an artistic and educational endeavor that uses written, visual, and oral histories to provide an intimate perspective on the global and personal consequences of the 1935-41 Italo-Ethiopian War. Project3541 is a memory project and an act of reclamation that seeks to transcend the static nature of an archive. We aim to represent this period in history, with its complicated realities, through curriculum, exhibitions, and other creative platforms. We will work to highlight the questions that remain – and seek the answers that we can.
